Executive Search

In today’s market sought after employees enjoy a greater choice of jobs and greater mobility than ever before. Executive Search is a recruitment methodology that is focused on top organizations. It accounts for about one third of all our Senior-level placements.
In almost all cases, candidates we approach are already in high-profile positions and have to be wooed to even consider a new position.

This process is typically how we would approach our Search: 

• We assemble the best team for the assignment based on our industry and technical knowledge and relationships. The team thoroughly educates and orientates itself about the client company and its competitive environment etc. In consultation with the client, we will draw up a solution based on the client’s specific requirements
• Our team draw on our data bases, industry knowledge and networks of well placed senior executives with whom we have built close relationships to compile an initial list of ‘prospects’. After review with the client, we will narrow the list to the most relevant, promising prospects
• The focus is also on gaining a perspective on each candidate’s cultural and personality fit with the client’s organization. Just as important is ensuring that the position complies with the candidate’s long-term career objectives
• Once we are convinced that the candidates are suitable, they are then presented to the client with analysis of their ‘fit’ and skills set. Client and candidate are prepared for the interview – this often involves coaching of both parties
• Once the candidate is chosen, our team will initiate further referencing and will ‘manage the close’; facilitating negotiations on remuneration, terms and time frames. Post-search follow-up involves staying close to the client and candidate to ensure smooth and effective negotiation into the company
